What had to work.
harrypotter.watch replaces catalogue browsing with five short preference screens. Each allows multiple selections: mood, favourite character, era, ending and magical creatures. The result shows one of eight films instead of another grid to compare.
The current picker scores the preferences it maps to each film, then uses a weighted random draw across the top three score bands, so another run can end differently. A result needs no account; an optional profile keeps the history.
It is a small, self-initiated web product, built and shipped solo. The live footer carries the @t.sestak credit; this portfolio presents a compact interpretation of its five-step flow without reproducing franchise artwork.
